Slumber sleep 😴

 

Sleep is a natural phenomenon in which a person gives rest to his body and mind. Sleep is when the body and mind are in a calm state of rest. It is common for many people to not have proper sleep due to work pressure or tensions, but getting proper rest ensures the productivity of the body. A healthy mind and body need's sleep. A minimum of 8 hours of sleep is necessary for the human body to function better. 
Many people fail to realize that the time which you go to bed is not equal to the amount of sleep you get. According to scientific research- our body takes a minimum of 90 min to sleep and enter the state of REM.

Sleep is an essential function. This allows the body and mind to recharge and leaves us refreshed when we wake up. When we nap our mental stability increases and it also gives time for the body to heal itself. Our body cells get tired during the day and take enough rest to work for the next day. According to the national sleep foundation - millions of people don't get enough sleep and many people suffer from Insomnia. This survey shows the amount of sleep deprived people around us. Many people have been taking sleeping pills to give rest to the body. After every tiring activity, our body requires rest to rejuvenate itself. Due to tension, anger or thought our mind would be busy thinking. 


Well you wouldn't need sleeping pills if you had a proper routine. Using gadgets and playing video games at nights does not help in getting sleep. You will have to stop using all devices 1 hour before sleep. During teenage, our muscles build. With proper sleep and diet, our body hormones get balanced, and this leads to proper weight gain.

Here are some tips that I have applied for quality sleep.


Extra tips for better sleep-

Tip 1 - Use a blue light filter on your devices for better sleep.

Tip 2 - Make sure you don't use too much of technology.

Tip 3 - Go out and enjoy the environment around you.

Tip 4 - Be happy and enjoy all the little things you have.

Tip 5 - Important rule - Never read story books while laying down on the bed.
